Job Summary:

Identify and source suppliers for materials, manage supply costs, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier costs are competitive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source suppliers for new manufacturing parts.
  • Approve supplier costs for base pricing and engineering changes.
  • Negotiate Annual Price Review (APR) with top suppliers.
  • Manage supplier risk and program readiness.
  • Achieve cost planning targets and approve pre-production pricing.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and management capabilities.
Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2-4 / 4 years of sourcing and end to end purchasing experience
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge of industrial equipment and manufacturing processes.
    • Understanding of purchasing, sourcing, manufacturing, and materials management.
    • Ability to read blueprints and drawings REQUIRED
    • Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
    • ERP system experience (e.g., Oracle) preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Bilingual skills helpful.
  • Travel: Up to 25% in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
