We are looking for a multi-talented Client Services Specialist to join our team. You must love to collaborate cross functionally in a people centric fast-paced environment. Requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship & Account Management: Answering incoming and outbound client phone calls, and emails pertaining to event registration and changes. Maintain relationships with new and returning clients, with a focus on retention. Execute the client registration process and ensure timely collection of entry fees.
- Project & Event Management: Record accurate data entry in PipeDrive (CRM). Manage city/registration including schedule creation, talent registration changes, rule violations, distribution of event material, and other event-related tasks.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to collaborate with team members following current policies, procedures, and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, and MS Office Suite software, with solid Excel & Word skills
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly express details, rules, guidelines, and concepts clearly and concisely
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, unassisted, and execute physical on-event work
- A valid US Driver's License and ability/willingness to drive a rental vehicle in any US city scheduled
- Must enjoy travel, including airports, Ubers, minivans, and road trips
- Able to work long hours and maintain a positive demeanor in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment
- Background, drug, and alcohol screening required
- Strong self-management skills with the ability to hold oneself accountable
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proactively handling workloads under stressful or uncertain environments
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Ability to collaborate with leadership in following current policies, procedures, and best practices
- Teamwork-oriented and willingness to assume other duties as assigned
- 1 year customer service, support or relations experience
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, to clearly express technical and non-technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills to meet set goals.
- Proactively handling workloads under stressful or uncertain environments.
IMPORTANT POSITION EXPECTATIONS:
The position requires up to 30% travel: requiring travel of 3-8-day increments, including our Regional and National dance competitions, trade organization, and/or strategic planning events, occurring throughout the year. Must be okay with sharing a hotel room with same-sex colleague.
