Hiring for Two Positions
Overview: The Cottages Hospitality & Admissions Specialists play a crucial role in supporting seniors and their families as they transition into assisted living and memory care homes. The ideal candidate will engage with prospective residents and their families and provide valuable information, resources, and support. Superior communication skills, a compassionate approach, and a genuine passion for helping seniors find solutions that meet their changing needs are a must.
In a secondary role, the Hospitality & Admissions Specialist will also serve as a Cottages representative at marketing events, with community partners and the general public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer initial lead calls and respond timely and appropriately.
- Enter data into our customer relationship management software to appropriately document the progress of leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective residents and their families, understanding their unique needs and guiding them through the decision-making process.
- Provide detailed information on The Cottages' services, amenities, and care options, addressing questions and concerns promptly and thoroughly.
- Convert qualified leads into residents.
- Schedule and conduct tours, virtual consultations, and other engagements to showcase the community's offerings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the assisted living industry to serve as a resource for families exploring care options.
- Follow up consistently with prospective residents and families, providing reassurance and information throughout the decision journey
- Conduct and participate in marketing events in the community
- Communicate and collaborate with Executive Directors & team members at assigned locations about assessments, transitions from lead to resident and community awareness and events.
- Serve on a rotating basis for weekend on-call.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales, customer service, or caregiving role, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Empathy, patience, and dedication to supporting the well-being of seniors.
- Ability to work collaboratively to achieve community occupancy goals.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
