This key role will assist in all aspects of accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, GL, and audit readiness. Key Responsibilities/Essential Duties of Position: Oversee the general ledger and ensure a timely monthly close. Responsible for generating the monthly financial statements and ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Support the Accounting Manager with the annual audits; financial statement, ASC 842 Support the preparation of the annual property tax filings. Participate in various business processes and technology integration initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Direct property accounting experience preferred. GL accounting experience required. Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization. Maintain high personal integrity and strong work ethic. Experience with Yardi, MRI, or Sage Intacct preferred but not required.
