The Headlines: In the role of Spirits Finance and Accounting Manager working in Milwaukee, WI. You will own all accounting, treasury, and financial transactions for Blue Run Spirits, inclusive of revenue, COGS, expense, and cash. You will maintain the ledger for Blue Run Spirits and work with Blue Run co-man distilleries for new make productions, connecting long-range plans to cash needs. You will oversee the balance sheet, with emphasis on whisky assets, and ensure cash collections and payments are timely and adhere to policies and procedures. The Responsibilities: Daily sub ledger activity to record financial transactions using QuickBooks online, ensuring proper accounting practices. Daily treasury activity to monitor cash balances, including vendor payments via Bill.com and cash collections via ParkStreet. Oversees accounting of all Whiskey, including monthly movements and valuation. Manages all co-man relationships from a financial perspective. Review and approve Blue Run financial transactions. Supply Chain Finance activities - costing, payments, and margin analysis. The Other Qualifications: You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting OR equivalent experience (4+ years). You have knowledge and skills in Finance and Accounting, Banking, SAP, Excel, QuickBooks, and Supplier Management. You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You build relationships and collaborate to get to the desired outcome. You take accountability for results – acting with integrity and honoring commitments. You have a thirst for learning – you are always looking for ways to learn and help one another grow.
