Job Title: Financial Intelligence Senior Analyst

Associated Banc-Corp is seeking a highly skilled Financial Intelligence Senior Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Intelligence team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating financial risks associated with money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct complex investigations utilizing internal monitoring applications, referrals from business lines, and open source intelligence to identify potential financial crimes.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Intelligence Team Lead to develop and implement policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance to business and functional partners on appropriate courses of action when suspicious or potentially suspicious activity is identified.
  • Assist in the management and implementation of surveillance systems, rules, and methodologies to ensure effective identification of fraud, kiting, money laundering, terrorist financing, or unusual account activity.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives as directed, and monitor and report progress towards successful and timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Risk, Compliance, Audit, Business, or Law Enforcement.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Risk, Security, banking, compliance, or audit.
  • CAMS-Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist within 2 years.
  • Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of experience in Risk, Security, banking, compliance, or audit, and CFE-Certified Fraud Examiner.
