Management Claims Coordinator

As a

Risk

Management Claims Coordinator

for Liberty Military Housing,

you

are responsible for

overall collection and recovery efforts with third-party renters insurance, auto, and general liability claims across the Liberty Military Housing enterprise. You will be working closely with site leaders, insurance carriers, and our internal accounting department.

Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Review

basic insurance policies as they relate to third-party legal liability and damages. Review incident reports relating to property damage . Navigate incident management software

to access claims. Document

collection efforts: upload and organize expenses from property management software into claim packets for subrogation. C ompile total expenses via Excel spreadsheets. A bility to organize a calendar to track claims and create a diary system for follow up. Communicate with insurance c ompanies on claim packets and negotiate recovery. Communicate with accounting revenue department

and site leaders on status of collection efforts. Assist Risk Management w ith special tasks and projects to include risk management ad hoc reports relating to claims and recovery

Qualifications: What You Need for Success

: Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.? Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.? Must be able to sit at a desk for extended periods.? Ability to travel to other regional locations for work, training, meetings and other work-related activities.? The position requires mobility within the office; use of a computer and other office machinery such as a scanner and copy machine.? Must be able to deal with a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment, including handling multiple tasks daily.? May require use of personal or company vehicle.? Ability to independently lift/carry supplies or equipment up to 30 lbs.? What We Provide You:
