Integrated Medical Services is seeking a Revenue Cycle Team Lead with substantial experience in the healthcare industry. The Revenue Cycle Team Lead is responsible for supervising the day-to-day functions of the RCM team to achieve optimal results while ensuring compliance as directed by the Revenue Cycle leadership. Position will be responsible for training and monitoring performance of Revenue Cycle staff members. Position will serve as an informational resource and provide assistance and guidance with their daily activities

  • §Assists with oversight of revenue cycle functions.

    §Researches and resolves revenue cycle problems and discrepancies.

    §Performs general accounts receivable functions as it relates to coding, billing, AR follow-up and cash processes.

    §Identify opportunities to improve department workflows and cross functional processes.

    §Identified as Athena super-user and manages the training on Athena changes and updates.

    §Provides precepting to all new employees as well as continued education and training to current employees.

    §Provides quality analysis of the team as needed or determined by supervisor/manager.

    §Works with department content experts to standardize onboarding and orientation (i.e., checklists and index of P&Ps, manuals, desk procedures, etc.).
Required Education and Experience:
  • §High school diploma or GED required

    -CPC Preferred

    §AA degree preferred

    §2-4 years minimum experience required, specifically professional fee for services claims processing and reimbursement required

    §1 - 3 years Athena experience preferred

    §Hybrid role; must be flexible on hours/days working remote vs. in office; all training will be completed at corporate office
