Parish Relations Managers

in the Stewardship and Development office assist parishes in fundraising for the Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA), Catholic Schools Scholarship Fund, Generation to Generation capital campaign. They are also responsible for coordinating stewardship and offertory programs at the parishes they serve. Considerable communication with external constituencies ensuring professionalism, timeliness and accuracy to strengthen affinity to and trust in this archdiocese will be essential. S/he will lead by example to serve the mission statement of the Office of Stewardship and Development in their interactions with pastors, parishes, principals, donors, internal offices of the archdiocese. Responsibilities Serve as the public facing representative of Stewardship and Development within their assigned Vicariate(s) for the Archdiocese of Chicago Coordinate and implement fundraising for the ACA, CSSF, G2G, and other Archdiocesan priorities at the parish and school level and assist them in their fundraising efforts Track donations from and communications with individual donors and parishes Coordinate and implement Stewardship and Offertory programs for Archdiocesan parishes within their assigned Vicariate(s) Meet key performance indicators as established by the Director of Giving and Senior Director of Development Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Giving Attend required meetings and participate as needed Maintain a thorough understanding of the mission, goals, and priorities of the Stewardship and Development office Requirements BA/BS degree — preferably in communications, fundraising or equivalent professional experience and/or CFRE preferred Professional development and/or parish level work experience 2-5 years of fundraising and/or marketing experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication and skills Above average computer skills in software such as Microsoft Office, Raiser’s Edge, Portfolio Ability to meet deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment Excellent Problem-solving skills Delegate responsibilities effectively and demonstrated leadership Strong work ethic, enthusiasm and confidence Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style Must demonstrate understanding, respect and support for Catholic Church teaching, mission and values
