If you thrive on meeting new people, enjoy exploring the Bay Area, and relish daily challenges, we may have the ideal opportunity for you in salesPosition Overview:As a Security and Fire Sales Consultant at All-Guard Alarm Systems, your primary responsibilities include generating leads, closing sales, and maintaining relationships with both new and existing customers. You will specialize in selling comprehensive security solutions, including Burglar Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, and IP Camera systems.Compensation and Benefits:Competitive base salary plus commission.Potential to earn $100K+ in your first year.Performance-based bonus programs.Car allowance.Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, life insurance).401K with employer match and profit-sharing programs.Signs You're Perfect for Our Team:You're naturally optimistic.A "no" from a potential client is seen as a challenge, not a setback.You thrive in competitive environments.You have a knack for understanding people.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesIdentify and cultivate new sales prospects through cold calling, canvassing, networking, research, and referrals.Effectively follow up on leads provided by the company.Coordinate and schedule appointments with key decision-makers for consultative sales meetings tailored to their needs.Conduct detailed site surveys to develop customized solutions that meet each client's specific requirements.Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations in a professional manner.Maintain proactive communication with prospects and existing clients to ensure timely follow-up and relationship building.Manage documentation processes including work orders, bid proposals, and contracts.Achieve and surpass assigned quotas on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Ensure accurate and timely updates to the CRM database.Utilize effective questioning techniques to uncover sales and service opportunities with new and existing customers.Conduct thorough research and resolve any customer concerns promptly and professionally.Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all interactions.Minimum QualificationsMinimum 2 years of B2B and B2C experience, specifically in prospecting and selling burglar alarm systems, fire alarm systems, access control, and video surveillance.Demonstrated ability to generate revenue from self-generated and company-provided leads, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.Proficient in lead generation through canvassing, networking, and business development.Strong customer service orientation, complemented by excellent time management and organizational skills.Self-starter who excels in both independent and team environments.Technical aptitude is advantageous.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong analytical and negotiation abilities.Persistent, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.Must have or be able to obtain an Alarm Company Employee (ACE) license.Compensation includes base salary, auto allowance, and commission.Preferred QualificationsAssociate or bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.2+ years of experience in Alarm Industry sales.All-Guard Alarm Systems, Inc, is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on an applicants age, sex, gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or any other class protected by state or federal law.Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and investigative background check.
