P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently recruiting a Marketing Administrator/Executive to join their team based in Great Yarmouth. This is a diverse marketing role that includes some administrative holiday/illness back-up for the company that operates across varying industry sectors: Oil & Gas, Construction and Environmental. Marketing Responsibilities:

Develop and extend customer relations, through a combination of Mailchimp mailings, personal emails, phone calls, face-to-face meetings, supplemented by occasional trade fair attendance (3-5 a year, most involving day trips). Monitor and update indirect channels such as Trade Directories, press, and trade fair lists, whether in Excel or on the database. Perform routine tasks such as researching missing customer job titles, running weekly database reports, updating spreadsheets, and filing. Write press releases, update directories, adverts, and trade fair material (e.g. flyers). Post fortnightly news items and liaise with the web editor and designer on updates. Conduct research on new target markets. Mailchimp:

Manage weekly or fortnightly mailings and campaign spreadsheets. Handle unsubscribes and update contact lists. Website:

Update news and find interesting stories and articles to use. Liaise with staff in the yard for technical information. Customers:

Manage Mailchimp and emails. Attend selected trade fairs. Marketing Material:

Design and produce marketing materials, such as business cards, brochures, and flyers. Events:

Occasionally manage events, such as the annual Memorial Race Day at Great Yarmouth races. Trade Press:

Update lists of trade press, ezines, and directories. Selected tasks to provide holiday and/or illness cover:

Administrative paperwork for incoming and outgoing equipment. Person Specification/Experience:

Good design skills, particularly in Canva and Mailchimp. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines. Organized in updating ring binders, contact lists, and the database. Proactive in managing a pending list and following up. Confident and friendly phone manner. Experienced in customer interactions both face-to-face and on the phone. Positive and flexible attitude. Ability to work as part of a team and assist other members when required. Willingness to communicate via phone and email due to varied schedules. Prepared for repetitive tasks as the database and website undergo clean-up. Good command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation. Competent in MS Word, MS Outlook, and formatting Excel spreadsheets.
