Schedule: M-F 11:00am – 8:00pm EST This role is approved to be remote or hybrid for associates in Newport News, VA, in accordance with the Ferguson Flex schedule. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Effectively utilize customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system. Demonstrate excellent customer service by answering calls from internal and external customers for general information, addressing and resolving concerns or questions. Identify and escalate priority issues to appropriate channels. Provide website support including troubleshooting issues and administering guidance on website features. Assist with customer orders, process sales, and returns. Other Job Duties: Actively seek opportunities to enhance processes and improve customer satisfaction. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, assist with complex customer inquiries, and contribute to a supportive team environment focused on achieving collective goals. Contribute to achieving or surpassing team goals and targets. Maintain reliable transportation to work in-office and ensure stable internet when working remote. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines related to customer service, data privacy, and security. Qualifications: Customer service experience preferred. Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent time-management skills. Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment & follow through on commitments. Exhibit a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions. Capacity to quickly learn company systems, platforms, and processes. Skilled in digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
