Our service-oriented mission is in action every day, whether its by providing care in our facilities, training the next generation of health care professionals, or serving others through international outreach.Campus Overview:Kettering Health DaytonKettering Health Dayton, formerly Grandview Medical Center, has been providing care to Dayton and surrounding communities for over 90 years.Over 20 specialties, including orthopedics, heart and vascular, surgery, and trauma services.KH Dayton expanded their Emergency Department as well as their heart & vascular services to include an additional catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab.Partners with Gem City Market to provide fresh fruits and vegetables every Tuesday within the hospital.One of the largest osteopathic teaching hospitals in the United States.371 bed facilityOver the past several years, KH Dayton has received many awards, including: Top 100 HospitalPatient Safety Excellence Award from Health grades in 2019.Received an A from the Leapfrog Group, a national patient safety watchdog, ranking among the safest hospitals in the United States.Responsibilities & Requirements:Job Responsibilities:The Development Coordinatoris responsible forimplementation offund-raisingprograms including annual giving clubs,special events, direct mail, writtenproposalsand personal solicitation.Responsible for medical student,residentand alumni engagementProvidescontent and coordinates communication efforts to produce at least 3 issues of Grandviewat a Glanceand 2 mailings toalumnaefrom each of Grandviews 12 residency programsCoordinates and leads RAGS association toprovidenetworking and wellbeing activities for residents and attending physicians.Representsthe Foundation in the community atspecial eventsand educational opportunities.Performs diversified administrative support for the Vice President for Development of The Grandview Foundation including the following:compile reports, presentations, and other materials relating to graduate medical education.Job Requirements:Bachelors degreerequired.Demonstrated competency in or willingness to learn Raisers Edge softwareProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelDemonstrated ability to interact with, and learn, software programs3-5 years of experience in fundraising,developmentor advancement supportAbility to follow through with minimum direct supervisionExceptional organizational skills, written and verbal communication skills andproblem solvingskillsAbility to interact with staff and the public in a professional manner andmaintainconfidentiality at alltimes.Ability to reach and/or stand for extended periods, push/pull/lift/carry heavy objects, and travel to other departments/outside facilities and overcome any barrierrequired.#J-18808-Ljbffr
