The HR Administrative Assistant is responsible for completing administrative tasks associated with various human resource functions, as well as assisting with special projects as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Process updates to HRIS for employee status changes, revisions/updates to records, timely and accurately
  • Ensure supporting documentation is stored electronically in proper employee or HR folders
  • Ensure applicable changes are reported timely for bi-weekly payroll processing
  • Process monthly benefit enrollments and provide updates timely for payroll processing
  • Review monthly benefit invoices for accuracy and process for payment as scheduled
  • Process terminations internally following established procedures
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding tasks
  • Review daily call offs and update system for reporting absences to supervisor
  • Assist employees with general questions and inquiries and escalate HR related issues and concerns to CHRO
  • Represent the Company in a positive manner through professional conduct, attitude, and appearance
  • Understand and comply with company policies and procedures
  • Follow Company Confidentiality and Security policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Knowledge
  • Knowledgeable in human resources best practices, procedures and principles
  • General knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage sensitive HR information confidentially
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient with or ability to quickly learn HRIS
Education/Experience
  • Associates Degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school in related field; or SHRM Certification preferred
  • At least three years HR related experience required
