We do not discriminate based on race, religion, color, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. **Summary** Overproof is looking for a Sales Manager to join our SME Sales team to help us achieve our ambitious sales goals. Your focus will be on small and medium sized beverage alcohol producers and suppliers (ie- distilleries, breweries and wineries) and our efforts to convert these to subscription customers for our Overproof market intelligence platform. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of business development, sales techniques and sales methodology, and has a proven track record in the beverage alcohol industry. Importantly, the candidate displays a strong can-do-attitude and a strong drive and desire to close deals. You are a performance-driven and focused sales professional. You are comfortable with cold-calling, communicating with to business owners and managers, performing demos, deal-making and closing customers. You are capable of explaining our product and value proposition to our target audience. **Responsibilities:** Prospect, engage and close new business in the defined SME Supplier segment, meeting and possibly exceeding sales targets at all times Work closely with our Marketing, SME Sales and Customer Success Teams to create business development strategies and campaigns aligned to business plans for Overproof. Understand target customers needs and identify sales opportunities; communicate with target customers and follow up on leads to ensure deal closure Keep up with Overproof product and service information and updates; explain and demonstrate features of products and services as part of the sales process Stay informed about competing products and services Take appropriate actions to increase the visibility and stature of the organization, including networking Set and track sales targets as part of the SME Sales team; report on sales metrics and suggest improvements in the sales administration process Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts Use lead and customer feedback to generate ideas about new features or products in collaboration with the Overproof Product team Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met Has experience managing and motivating a sales team **Qualifications:** Minimum 5 years sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry required Familiarity with subscription or Saas sales preferred Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask Excellent phone and cold calling skills Exceptional customer service skills Strong listening and sales skills Strong ability and desire to achieve targets **Notes** This position is ideally based in Miami, FL Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States of America Remuneration: part base salary and part performance based incentive **Privacy Overview** CookieDurationDescription
