Title: Senior Revenue Accountant
Location: San Diego - Hybrid
Salary:$80-115k + Bonus
Description: The Sr Revenue Accountant will direct the day-to-day functions of the Company's revenue team to ensure we operate as a best in class SaaS Revenue team, including timely and accurate invoicing, data management, collections and revenue recognition / reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain documentation of all revenue processes, from quote to cash collection
- Participate in Rev Ops team
- Perform Billing, Collections, Revenue Recognition, and Reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree or CPA preferred.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in revenue preferably in a SaaS or software company with a minimum revenue range of $100 million
- Strong systems experience in high velocity billing platforms such as Stripe, Zuora, Billing Platform etc.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, particularly around revenue / contracts
- Experience in audit / external validation

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
