We are looking for a passionate program manager to help us build an internal community that fosters meaningful connections among all team members worldwide. The Program Manager, Employee Engagement is a critical and highly visible role at Discord. You will help support our growing People team's connection, culture, and operational needs. Discord is building a best-in-class hybrid work environment. You will ensure our employees have a highly functional, vibrant, and inclusive workplace virtually and in the office. You will collaborate across our People, Workplace, and Internal Communications teams to deliver on company-wide initiatives.

This full-time hybrid position, reporting to the Manager of Employee Engagement, requires working in our San Francisco office to support and scale internal company events as needed.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage cultural company key moments like our annual company kick-off, CTRL+R, Game Night, and Hack Week
  • Responsible for facilitating department and cross-functional onsites in the office
    • Develop and manage company onsite programming calendar
    • Develop and manage programming and playbooks to support onsites
    • Project manager for Discord's quarterly Onsite Weeks: Communicate with program contributors and stakeholders on deliverables, prioritization, opportunities, and risks when applicable to ensure that everyone is aligned and engaged in achieving program goals
  • Point person for all People team in-office events and activations
  • Manage and evolve our Life@Discord programs: Anniversary Program, Clubs and Picnics (remote employee meet-ups)
  • Analyze people and program metrics to monitor KPIs and make recommendations for future improvements
  • Manage daily operations and guide optimization for multiple internal Discord servers
  • Assist with special projects for the People Programs team
You Will Thrive In This Role If
  • You have a minimum 5 years of experience working in Events and Marketing or Human Resources programs that require third-party vendor management
  • You have experience executing large-scale events
  • You are curious, creative, and collaborative
  • Assess and understand our culture and interpret this into meaningful strategies that are genuine to Discord
  • You have experience leading programs and managing relationship


The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000 to $137,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
