The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in sourcing, recruiting, and managing candidates across various levels and locations, ensuring a seamless hiring process and promoting our brand as an employer of choice. This role requires a blend of recruiting, sourcing, and administrative skills, focusing on achieving Time to Fill (TTF) metrics and delivering a positive candidate experience. We are looking for a candidate who has a sense of urgency and is highly motivated to achieve Time to Fill (TTF) metrics. Must be able to promote the COATS brand and COATS future to candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Manage a portfolio of various requisitions, ensuring adherence to corporate Time To Fill (TTF) metrics. Maintain and adapt recruiting plans for open positions, ensuring alignment with company hiring needs and objectives.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System (JazzHR), serving as an advanced user and assisting in maintaining requisition templates. Posting approved job requisitions in ATS as needed.
  • Creatively source and actively recruit for hard-to-fill exempt and non-exempt positions using various channels.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Manager to develop effective job descriptions that clearly communicate departmental needs.
  • Conduct phone screenings and initial interviews with prospective candidates.
  • Complete paperwork for offers, obtain necessary approvals, and present offers to candidates.
  • Maintain candidate relationships throughout the screening, interview, offer, and onboarding stages.
  • Disposition candidates appropriately and send communications to candidates
  • Attend and represent the company at career fairs and college recruiting events if needed.
  • Other duties, projects, and assignments as required

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience required, with proven experience in sourcing passive candidates in high volume, multi-state, and national requisitions. Experience recruiting in the automotive industry a plus.
  • Experience recruiting and sourcing candidates for both manufacturing and corporate roles required.
  • Experience recruiting for field/remote positions preferred
  • Experience with KPIs, and proven experience driving towards them and meeting or exceeding them with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to handle confidential information, decisions, and situations with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Able to work overtime as needed
