Responsibilities:

We are searching for a highly experienced expert who designs, researches, and develops advanced applications. This role involves leading technical efforts, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring compliance with customer and government standards. The expert is responsible for system design, evaluation, modification, and integration, working with various engineering disciplines to translate high-level strategies into detailed requirements. Additionally, they participate in business development, customer liaison, design reviews, and testing processes.

Program Description

Program provides SETA (Systems Engineering Technical Advisor) & SE&I (Systems Engineering & Integration) services to an IC customer. Focuses on assured space communications and supporting IT infrastructure.

  • Systems Engineering:

  • Acquisition:
    • Supports government COTRs in managing development contracts.

    • Leads anomalies response teams when issues arise.

Specific Opportunity Description

The primary responsibility is to support the COTR in ensuring the success of the mission thread. This includes managing a team of matrixed SETA to support all functions of the Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC), coordinating SAFe Agile software development cycles, and providing SME level advisory support in various areas of software development and operations.

  • Cover software development, test and integration.
  • Transition to operations.
  • Capability acquisition management.
  • Support necessary for the OS mission thread.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Relevant Experience: 12 to 15 years with BS or 10 to 13 years with MS
  • Must Possess and Maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
  • Technical BS in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical degree. 5 years of relevant experience in supporting systems engineering or software development/acquisition programs can be substituted for the degree requirement.
  • 5 years of leading or facilitating agile software development processes.
  • Technical team leadership experience.
  • The ability to work well within a team of engineers.
  • Demonstrated success in working with government customers.

Desired:

  • 5 - 10 years of experience supporting the Commercial/Government systems acquisition lifecycle, test and integration of ground systems or segment hardware/software solutions
  • BS in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Prior experience as a SETA with FALSTAFF IC agency customer working acquisition support for a system development.
  • Prior experience with ground software planning and scheduling RF based satellite communications systems.
  • Prior experience with digital signal processing.
  • Prior agile development experience.
