Who We Are:
The Program Compliance Group of the Purchasing Department is responsible for promoting supplier diversity and ensuring supplier compliance with Federal Government requirements, procurement quality assurance and contract compliance reporting, and supplier risk management and monitoring.
Objectives of this Role:
Promote Socioeconomic Programs and assist in updating and creating policies and procedures.
Collaborate with purchasing buyers on applicable solicitations to ensure adequate involvement of Small Businesses.
Review Small Business (SB) Subcontracting plans and advise on Small Business Participation Plans for proposal efforts.
Help plan, conduct, and promote outreach events with related associations and organizations.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Complete the reporting process for reports required by client contracts (e.g., Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA), compiling, approving, and filing ISRs, SF294s, and SSRs for small business reporting.
Conduct training for internal employees and departments.
Review Small Business (SB) Subcontracting plans and advise on Small Business Participation Plans for proposal efforts.
Assists in monitoring subcontracting performance to achieve overall subcontracting plan goals.
Collaborate with business development and proposal teams to support proposal efforts, including helping identify companies in various small business categories; help create, write, and modify Small Business Subcontracting Plans.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors in Business, Marketing, or Supply Chain; Masters degree is preferred
1-3 years: Professional experience in U.S. Federal Small Business Program, supply chain, auditing, process improvement, training, event planning, or related experience required.
1-3 years: Experience in purchasing, preferably with a government contractor. Experience submitting FFATA reports, ISRs, and SSRs in the FSRS/eSRS Government systems. Ability to work in databases and apply search processes in finding information on small businesses.
1-3 years: Strong computer skills and excellent MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (mail, calendar), and Adobe knowledge. Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management. Excellent people, marketing, and communication skills both verbal and written.
1-3 years: Previous experience in small business outreach and development. Experience supporting Gov't audits. Experience with Mentor Protege programs. Experience in planning and managing trade show events and conferences. Experience writing Small Business Subcontracting Plans.
A valid/clear driver's license is required
Special Requirements:
Must be a U.S. person (i.e., U.S. citizen, non-U.S. citizen national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to ITAR work in section.
