Highlights: ChristianaCare Hospitalist Partners is a large, employed hospitalist group consisting of 150 physicians and 25 advanced practice clinicians servicing 3 hospital campuses (1,300 beds) in Newark and Wilmington, DE and Elkton, MD. ChristianaCare is an extensive health network that includes outpatient services, home health care, medical aid units, a Level I trauma center, Level III neonatal intensive care unit, a comprehensive stroke center along with regional Centers of Excellence in heart and vascular care, cancer care and women's health. Chief of Hospitalist Services position will include clinical time and dedicated administrative time to direct the hospitalist group in areas of: Strategic Planning System Level Engagement Budget Provider Recruitment and Staffing Hospitalist Administrator-on-Call responsibilities Requirements: Successful candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a mid-large practice environment working with physicians and advanced practice clinicians. Chief will develop and execute measurable strategies to standardize the delivery of care and to improve patient outcomes and experience in alignment with the organization's priorities and initiatives. Must have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to serve as a liaison between Medical Group, Service Line Leadership, Clinical Leaders and front line providers. Position will require dynamic, flexible thinking and innovation in managing complex administration challenges and managing budget and staffing needs. BC Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
