About the Opportunity

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a board-certified/board eligible pediatric hospitalist to join our team at Children's Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled pediatric hospitalist to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of our inpatient curriculum. As a member of our academic health system, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor pediatric residents and medical students.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the general pediatric unit, newborn nursery, and inpatient behavioral health unit
  • Supervise pediatric medical students and residents on the inpatient services
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring activities, including leading morning report, participating in resident didactics, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based care pathways
  • Contribute to the development of our inpatient curriculum and participate in academic activities
Requirements
  • Board certification/board eligibility in Pediatrics
  • New Jersey medical licensure or eligibility for licensure
