The Finance Manager will manage the entire collections process and the monthly analyses. The Finance Manager will take part in ad hoc projects that relate to Client Accounts and Collections as required. This role sits within the Collections function of the Finance team and will report to the Dr of Client Accounts. The Finance Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed The Finance Manager will lead the process improvement strategy and manage the collections lifecycle from beginning to end This role is targeting candidates with the ability and prior experience upgrading/over-hauling a Collections process This is a highly analytical role

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Driver and complete ownership of process improvements and the entire collections process Development and management of two direct reports Partner with internal case teams and outside clients Handle the monthly and on-demand analyses for all accounts receivable Respond to all requests for analysis. This will include cases, collections, or accounts receivable information and statistics related to Client Accounts Utilize data, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to identify KPI, trends & opportunities for process improvements Participate in cross-functional projects related to a collections and client accounts Deadline driven Acts as a proactive business partner Mentor and further develop team members

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required with a concentration in finance or business required At least 8 years of substantive AR and Collections experience Experience in a professional services company environment needed At least 3 years of experience supervising/managing teams Proven ability and experience to handle entire collections process overhaul Highly analytical approach Ability to synthesize large data sets/numbers Strong PC capability (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required Proficiency in Excel required Experience with automated data and technology preferred Demonstrates technical competence and analytical strengths to solve problems Excellent and clear communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrates initiative, ownership, and influence
