About This Role The Coordinator, HR and Administrative provides crucial administrative support to the Global Human Resources (GHR) team in ChildFund’s International Office located in Richmond, Virginia. You will succeed in this position if you have strong organization skills and can prioritize effectively. You will enjoy this role if you have a customer service orientation, an interest in HR processes, and you like administrative work. Required Experience and Education Bachelor’s degree in human resource management is preferred. At least 2 years of work experience is required; experience in office administration or human resources is preferred. Previous experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Capital Management Systems (HCMs) is preferred. Primary Responsibilities Support US human resources financial administration, including: preparing consultant and vendor agreements, preparing monthly earning statements, and processing and reconciling invoices. Respond to internal customer requests for support with consultant onboarding process. Create monthly salary payments for certain employee classifications. Process and distribute GHR mail. Provide general administrative support to Global Human Resources. Create and maintain electronic personnel files; manage file retention policy on hard copy files. Schedule and provide administrative support for meetings. Maintain files and filing systems for GHR records, including job descriptions. Support Global Shared Services teammates with HRIS tasks. Remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Child Safeguarding Policy. Required Competencies The ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams. Outstanding customer service orientation. Strong sense of judgement, including the ability to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality. Good organization and time management skills. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment (currently 2 days per week in the office). Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse people and teams. Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing expectations and requirements.
