Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance, conduct in-depth analyses, and prepare reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and decision-making. Operational Excellence: Ensure the implementation of best practices and efficient processes across all Asset Management activities. Reporting: Act as Editor in Chief for reports; collaborate with the Managing Director on designing and implementing innovative monthly and quarterly reporting structures for internal stakeholders and external investors. Investment Performance Monitoring: Track and report on internal monthly return metrics for each investment within each of our funds. Hold vs Sell Analysis: Assist the Debt Capital Management team in evaluating assets for long-term holding or disposition. Quarterly Investor Letter: Collaborate with departmental leaders to gather input, track draft iterations, and ensure data accuracy. Power BI Reporting: Oversee Reporting Team, including management of Power BI dashboard development and maintenance. Project Management: Maintain a calendar of active projects, ensure timely completion, and coordinate team input to meet deadlines. Property Tax Appeals: Coordinate with third-party property tax advisors, review findings, determine properties for appeal, and monitor progress. Fund Distribution Analysis: Develop and manage a process, in collaboration with the Accounting team, to evaluate and make informed decisions on cash distributions to investors. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in an institutional real estate asset management role, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Skills: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in PowerBI, Excel, SQL, and financial modeling. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present it in a clear, concise manner. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating high-quality, institutional-level, reports and presentations. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proven track record of working independently and taking initiative in a dynamic environment. Ability to work long hours to meet project deadlines and ensure accuracy of data. Macabacus experience is a plus. Friendly and outgoing personality, a sense of optimism and enthusiasm, and dedication to teamwork. Must have unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
