Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Vice President to join our team and contribute to our venture fund investment strategies. The successful candidate will have a strong background in capital allocation, asset management, and venture capital or private equity investing. Key responsibilities will include participating in meetings with fund managers, proactive sourcing and conducting due diligence of potential investment opportunities, and overseeing the diligence work of associates.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in meetings with fund managers to discuss investment opportunities
  • Proactively source and conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities
  • Oversee the diligence work of associates
  • Monitor existing investments and model and analyze fund returns
  • Manage the deal pipeline and data analysis for research and internal projects
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of capital allocation, asset management, venture capital, or private equity investing experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in secondary transactions and/or direct private investments
  • Extensive knowledge of and interest in the venture capital, growth, and technology landscape
  • Mastery of Excel and experience creating and evaluating financial models
  • Prior experience with private fund placement documents, financial reports, and investor presentations
  • High degree of professional presence, including clear communication, ownership of work output, and timely, accurate, and reliable deliverables
  • Experience interacting with and communicating with venture capital and/or private equity general partners
  • Outstanding academic credentials
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-oriented personality with the ability to work independently
