Our client, a luxury American retailer, is looking for a Senior Director, Head of Compensation and Mobility to join their team. This individual will be a trusted advisor for the HR team, business partners, and the Chief Financial Officer on all Compensation matters. This person will be creative in their process execution and ensure collaboration through the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Build competitive and practical strategies for compensation and mobility
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure we are taking a "best in class" approach to compensation
- Update and maintain the salary structure across job families in collaboration with Talent Development and Talent Acquisition team members
- Consult with the international talent team members to ensure consistent practices
- Ensure the systems and processes are aligned with program expectations
- Oversee prioritization and execution of compensation and mobility priorities
- Manage key vendor relationships, working with Chief People Officer and Finance partners on oversight and execution of the executive compensation program design
- Work with talent partners on identifying best practices and execution of mobility needs
- Lead the year-end compensation process - ensuring merit and bonus guidelines are followed and implemented and that calculations, reporting, and compensation statements are accurate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of compensation experience
- proven ability to adapt to various technical systems
- Strong knowledge and experience in creating and implementing compensation programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels
- Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing deadline
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree
- Experience with Workday
- Proficient in PowerPoint/Keynote
- Retail industry experience supporting headcount of 2,500+
