Overview:

This is a Hybrid position.

Under general supervision, the Financial Reporting Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and
presenting financial reports in accordance with internal policies, procedures and guidelines. This position will also
perform detailed financial analysis to support decision making as well as identify trends, variances, and insights
to improve financial performance. The Financial Reporting Analyst will ensure all financial reports comply with
GAAP and other regulatory requirements as well as stay updated on changes in accounting standards and
regulations. This role assists in the audits by providing necessary documentation and variance analysis.
Additionally, this position develops and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of
financial reporting by utilizing financial software tools to streamline reporting tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Creates and maintains both actual and budgetary financial reports, communicates financial results and findings
    to senior management, and prepares presentations & reports for board meetings and executive reviews.
    Assists the Financial Reporting Manager in ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end
    financial reporting.
  • Develops and implements validated financial reports.
  • Assists in development of exception reporting to ensure financial reporting accuracy.
  • Assists with system interoperability within financial systems, including payroll, capital projects, accounts
    receivable invoicing, accounts payable, procurement, electronic health record systems, billing, and accounting
    system general ledgers.
  • Manages production of regularly scheduled summary reports.
  • Participates in system upgrades and testing.
  • In collaboration with the Financial Reporting Manager, ensures that year-end financial statements are prepared
    in accordance with GASB for governmental entities and that all necessary documents are ready for the annual
    audit.
  • Collaborates with other departments to gather and interpret financial data.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation for all financial reports and processes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field - Required
  • 2 years of experience in financial reporting or general ledger - Required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Preferred
