****Hiring for 3 territories and must live in assigned territory****
Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana territory (must reside in Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana)
Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico territory (must reside in Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico)
Southern California, Arizona, Nevada territory (must reside in Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, etc), Arizona, Nevada)
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for wholesaling Definiti retirement plan services in assigned territory. Create new financial advisor relationships that will ultimately sell Definiti retirement solutions - including traditional Defined Contribution/Defined Benefit administration TPA services (including Cash Balance as well as Actuarial), 3(16) services, pension outsourcing, and full-scope retirement consulting. These solutions will be sold through all financial intermediaries that reside in assigned territory - across all plan size markets. The ideal candidate for this opportunity will be domiciled in the assigned territory.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wholesale Definiti retirement solutions in assigned region.
- Develop new financial advisor relationships that will generate proposals and sales in assigned region.
- Obtain sales goal in assigned territory by prospecting new clients.
- Maintain network of advisors, consultants, platform wholesalers, DCIO partners, and other retirement service-focused professionals.
- Foster plan sponsor relationships through direct meetings with key contacts and partners.
- Manage travel, entertainment, and distribution partnership budgets where necessary.
- Manage a territory of targeted relationships.
- Maintain appropriate data to analyze challenges, success, and opportunities.
- Partner with leadership to create and implement strategies for accelerated growth.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

- Demonstrate sound judgment when making decisions, and operate with discretion and integrity
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of TPA or recordkeeping wholesaling experience with a proven track of selling retirement services solutions
- Working knowledge of the retirement services including platforms/ distribution & service models, key competitors, and centers of influence.
- Strong knowledge of retirement plan services and recordkeeping
- Demonstrated experience in the development of financial advisor relationships.
- Retirement-specific credentials preferred including Current QKA, CPFA, CPFC, CLU, ChFC designation(s) or ability to obtain at least one designation within 12 months of hire.
- Solid working knowledge of retirement plan services, sales operations and implementation.
- 50-75% travel required in assigned region.

- Be online and available to work during designated business hours in local time zone
- Accustomed to using Microsoft Teams (or similar virtual-meeting applications) to meet with colleagues regularly on video and use the chat feature for quick communications. We utilize many Microsoft Teams features (such as Channels and file storage) for announcements, relevant conversations, and file sharing. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams is a plus
- Accustomed with file-storage and file-sharing tools such as Microsoft SharePoint
