Grants Administrator/Manager

Skills Required: •Analyzes, interprets and disseminates grant information for federal reporting, planning, and program opportunities. •Assists and advises municipal applicants in the preparation of grant applications, responses, and reporting. •Prepares and reviews comments for the intergovernmental review, coordination, and evaluation grant applications. •Prepares and administers grants, subgrants, and contracts for implementation. •Plans and conducts training and technical assistance to grantees, subgrantees, and contractors under assigned programs. •Supervises and maintains records of assigned state and federal programs. •Manages and monitors program activities/projects of grantees, subgrantees and contractors to assure adherence to policies and guidelines. •Assists in evaluations of grant programs and makes judgments as to relative cost and effectiveness. •Engages with other state government representatives evaluate and recommend similar programs for implementation. •Prepares and presents reports on assigned programs and projects as needed.
Skills Preferred: MS Office at advanced proficiency
Experience Required: State agency experience
Experience Preferred: Municipal grants administrator experience
Education Required: 4 year Business degree
