The Art League Of Ocean City is a non-profit organization located in Ocean City, MD. Our mission is to promote the visual arts in the area through education, exhibits, scholarships, programs, and community art events. Our galleries are open daily, providing a space for artists to showcase their work and for the community to engage with art.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as the Development Director. The Development Director will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities related to fundraising and philanthropy. This includes planning and implementing annual giving campaigns, overseeing planned giving initiatives, budgeting for fundraising efforts, and creating strategies to increase funding for the organization. The Development Director will collaborate with the executive team and board members to develop and execute fundraising plans.

Qualifications
  • Experience in planned giving, annual giving, and philanthropy
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Proven track record in fundraising and donor cultivation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Knowledge of the local arts community and networks is a plus
  • Bachelors degree in a related field
