**Territory Sales Manager

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM): Meat & Further Processing possesses a wide range of sales knowledge and professional skills in the meat and further processing industries. The TSM will report to the VP
Sales: Meat and Further Processing U.S. Southern North America
This is a full-time, travel position (80%), with t ypical travel four days a week. Some international travel may be required where incumbent must be apply to secure and retain a passport.
This position has a base salary plus commission in accordance with Marels commission plan. The TSM will report to the Lenexa, Kansas office, and will work from a home office on the days they are not traveling.

**What youll be doing**
Key elements of your role include:
* Customer development and marketing of Marel products.
* Day-to-day sales and customer relationship responsibilities for the territory.
* Develop and obtain territory sales goals and Business Plans in specified territory.
* Drive growth through front line sales roles within Marel.
* Generate sales growth across core and strategic product lines.
* Maintain the line of sight between individual sales results and rewards.
**What were looking for**
* Strong resource management skills to perform duties.
* Experience in strategic planning and implementation of plans.
* Ability to independently manage multiple high-profile client engagements simultaneously.
* Exhibits some creativity in problem solving and team management activities
* Advanced verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
* Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Visio.
* Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required.
* 10+ years of sales management experience. Sales experience in the food/meat equipment industry a plus.
