Key Responsibilities:
Establish a KPI package that will visually measure the health of the North American Inventory in our ASC network
Ensure consistent implementation of PPG procurement strategies and policies
Execute contracts agreed by Global/Regional Category Managers/Directors from both supplier and PPG's obligations standpoint
Act as interface between Aerospace SBU local organizations and Global Supply Management department on supply issues and cost-saving opportunities
Communicate with SBU management and Supply Chain on supply issues and potential savings opportunities
Negotiate purchases by applying effective strategic sourcing practices for third-party materials to achieve a competitive edge
Qualifications:
Four (4) years of experience in supply chain, planning, procurement or logistics required
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or inventory management preferred
Aerospace experience preferred
High school diploma equivalent (GED) required
Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
