Essential functions, including how an individual is to perform them and the frequency with which the tasks are performed; the tasks must be part of the job function and truly necessary or required to perform the job. Strategic Leadership: In collaboration with the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, develop and implement a strategic vision for quality improvement aligned with organizational goals and industry standards. Lead and mentor a team of quality improvement professionals to ensure effective execution of initiatives. Quality Improvement Initiatives: Design, implement, and monitor quality improvement programs to enhance patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction. Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and measure the impact of interventions. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards (e.g., CMS, CARF, Joint Commission, etc.) relevant to healthcare quality. Assists with knowledge, understanding and compliance of CARF standards, federal, state, and county regulations. Ensure adherence to these standards and oversee preparation for audits and inspections.
