We're seeking an exceptional, self-directed professional with: Working knowledge of third-party payer relationships as well as relevant state and federal health programs Working knowledge of third party payer and medical terminology Ability to adapt to and implement changing registration procedures Working knowledge of HMOs, PPOs, and insurance contracting Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practice or procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including proper phone etiquette Bilingual English/Spanish abilities, preferred PC proficiency and basic math knowledge Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Independent decision-making skills and sound judgment Ability to adhere to departmental policies and procedures and work rules Flexibility in working varied schedules and at a variety of locations when necessar Note: May be subject to test on qualifying skills
