Patient Service Representative

Our corporate headquarters are located in Oaks, Pennsylvania, and Voorhees, New Jersey. As our impressive growth continues across the Mid Atlantic. This Position is located in East Brunswick, NJ. The Patient Service Representative will be mainly performing appointment scheduling along with other assigned duties.The scheduled hours are to be: Monday- Thursday 8:30-5 pm, and Fridays 8-4 pm.Medical Office Reception Promptly and professionally provide exceptional customer service via telephone, and in person greeting patients/visitors, and assist and direct them accordingly.Work as a team member and ability to work individually to serve in a setting that will deliver a high level of quality care.Feel comfortable answering phones and message training at high volumesAppointment scheduling for OB and GYN patientsCross train in variety of tasks to help maintain an efficient organizational work process for staffing needs and coverage. Explain financial requirements to patients; collect and record copays as required.Training will include obtaining insurance verification and benefits eligibility, precertification's for inhouse procedures and services as needed. Perform registration functions for new and existing patients.Schedule patient appointments per guidelines given, and finalize patient schedules for previous day.Maintain confidentiality regarding all patients.Adhere to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies through HIPAA compliance.Other duties as assigned.Qualified candidates can:Adapt to changing priorities and business needsIs flexible and not easily flustered in busy atmosphere.Has great customer service skills and initiative to learn.An ability to focus on what is best for the team over the individual, contribute to a team cultureReliable transportation and the ability to travel to either location East Brunswick and Piscataway as scheduled.
