Position Overview

We are seeking a self-motivated individual to increase our market share in the Data Center Market, specifically, MTDC (Multi-Tenant Data Center). This is an ideal position for an individual that has existing relationships in the data center space and is looking to expand their career in the energy storage industry.

Areas of Focus

Build key contact relationships with clients in order to present and educate on the benefits of C&D Technologies energy storage solutions with the goal of gaining approval as the standard solution.

Responsibilities

•Rigorously work to build relationships with key contacts to drive a preferred solution

•Strategic development and tactical execution of new business generation

•Build a pipeline of opportunities and work with partners and client to closure

•Forecast sales with a strong degree of accuracy aligned with your strategic plan

•Achieve defined vertical and customer revenue targets

•Develop and Continually Improve Strategic Account Plans; collaborate with internal stakeholders

•Deliver Voice of the Customer inputs to align with strategic goals of assigned accounts

•Collaborate with key internal stakeholders for customer success

•Build and actively participate in quarterly business reviews with key customers

•Interact with partners, customers, suppliers, and users in the energy storage industry

Basic Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

•This person must be outstanding at getting in front of key contacts, gaining buy-in, and selling across relevant departments

•Must be able to develop new business opportunities, coupled with an eye for upselling and cross-selling net new energy storage solutions

•Must have a proven track record of business-to-business sales experience

•Must be dynamic, articulate and well-spoken

•Must have a good understanding of the multi-tenant data center space

•Ability to travel 50% of the time

•A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience
