Salary/Hourly Rate:

$18/hr - $22/hr

Position Overview:

Are you ready to curate the next big thing in fashion? As an Assistant Buyer, you'll be at the forefront of trendsetting, helping to discover and bring to life the latest must-haves. This role is perfect for anyone with a passion for style and a knack for spotting the next big trend.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Buyer:

  • Collaborate with seasoned buyers to source and select merchandise that aligns with our brand's vision.
  • Assist in analyzing sales performance and market trends to optimize product assortment.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and negotiate the best terms to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the Buying team in maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Qualifications for the Assistant Buyer:
  • Previous retail experience or education in fashion merchandising is preferred, but enthusiasm and a keen eye for style are just as valuable.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with a knack for building relationships and influencing decisions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends to make informed buying decisions.
  • Passion for fashion and a natural curiosity to stay ahead of industry trends.
Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related field is a plus.
