Could This Be For You?:

The AP Specialist IV - checks and verifies cost accounting, account payable records, prepares invoices and vouchers, types, files, posts ledger and general journal entries, and/or balances accounts payable. Uses office-automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. May reconcile difficult accounts. May maintain a complete and systematic set of transactions in a specific phase of accounting.

This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our corporate HQ office in Austin's domain.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will:

  • Review and approve invoices based on three-way match
  • Carry out uninvoiced, billing gap and pending approval reporting activities according to specific deadlines
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Monitoring of vendor account details for all exceptions and other irregularities
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files with backup for invoices
  • Follow established procedures for processing receipt, pending approvals due to system tolerance failure
  • Promptly investigate and resolve vendor queries regarding purchase orders, invoices and payments
  • Prepare month end journal entries
  • Creates methods and procedures on new assignments
  • May be considered an informal team lead
Minimum Qualifications:

To be formally considered for the role, you should possess

  • Minimum 4 years of experience
  • Associates Degree or equivalent training, education and experience beyond high school required.
