The Company

Modern Aviation (the "Company") is a private equity-backed platform company launched in 2018 that is focused on the fixed-based operator ("FBO") sector. The Company has been rapidly growing through bolt-on FBO acquisitions and has significant additional committed capital from Apollo Management and Tiger Infrastructure Partners (its sponsors) to continue to grow the business through future acquisitions, capacity expansion at its existing locations and development of selective greenfield FBOs in the United States and the Caribbean. Modern's goal is to build the third largest national FBO network in the United States.

Primary Purpose of the Position

The Senior Recruiter is accountable for the organization's recruitment efforts, which include sourcing, vetting and selection of qualified candidates for a variety of positions. They collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies and ensure that staffing requirements are met.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, utilizing various sourcing techniques including job boards, social media, networking and employee referrals
  • Proactively source, screen and assess candidates through resume review, phone screenings, and interviews to ensure a high-quality talent pool Evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, develop job descriptions and define candidate profiles. Provide guidance to managers on best practices, market trends, etc.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process. Provide feedback to candidates and facilitate communication throughout the hiring process
  • Conduct assessments and interviews to evaluate candidates' skills and cultural fit. Make recommendations to hiring managers based on candidate interview and qualifications
  • Extend job offers and facilitate the onboarding process. Ensure a positive candidate experience from their acceptance through first days of employment
  • Track recruitment metrics and generate reports and analysis to assess recruitment performance
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of full cycle recruiting, preferably in a senior role
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, techniques, and tools
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with candidates and managers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Well versed in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other software
  • HR Certification is a plus
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities.

Reports to: VP of Human Resources

Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers. This position requires various tasks performed in all types of weather conditions.

Travel: This position may require periodic travel.

Location: Hybrid Amarillo, TX
