Financial Manager (Part-Time) Position

The Financial Manager will support Heartmonic clients in managing bookkeeping, cash flow, invoicing, account receivables and payables, and other key business processes.

The Financial Manager (Part-Time) performs a variety of duties, including, but not limited to:

  • Acquire and maintain an in-depth understanding of the financial reporting system and general ledger structure
  • Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting records
  • Support the monthly financial close process, ensuring compliance with all entries and financial statements
  • Collaborate with firm management review and analyze financial forecasts
  • Oversee and manage invoicing, customer collections, and bill payments as needed
  • Develop and maintain a seamless invoicing system
  • Manage all operational cash flow, ensuring adherence to company policies
  • Participate in and contribute to weekly team meetings
  • Assist with client onboarding and administration as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
Targeted Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Finance Manager (Part-Time)
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of professional accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Software such as Microsoft Office Suite QuickBooks
  • Multitask and prioritize work with competing deadlines
  • Clearly and effectively communicate through written and oral means


Compensation, Benefits, and Structure for the Finance Manager (Part-Time)

The position is part-time and permanent with a competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience. This position will work approximately 10-15 hours per week and requires presence in the Detroit office on a regular basis.
