Dover Counseling Services was established in January of 2015 and has been providing counseling services in Enterprise and the surrounding Wiregrass area since that time.

The mission of Dover Counseling is to provide ethical, caring, and consistent clinical services in a safe and welcoming environment. We offer whole-family clinical services and work to empower individuals, families, and couples to facilitate growth and change in their lives.

Dover Counseling Services is committed to providing the highest level of clinical counseling services, as well as continued education and training for our therapy providers. The Licensed Therapist is responsible for providing clinical services to practice clients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

● Responsible for maintaining a caseload of approximately 25 therapy clients per week.

● Documents all progress notes, contact notes, intakes, treatment plans, termination notes, and any other clinical paperwork in a timely manner.

● Schedules appointments, contacts new referrals, returns messages, and refers to and coordinates with other mental health providers.

● Receives and participates in clinical supervision (with Clinical Director and/or Clinical Supervisor) and peer consultation as needed.

● Participates in monthly staff meetings and other practice meetings/trainings as needed.

● Adheres to quality assurance standards of the practice.

● Maintains compliance with professional licensure regulation and verifies adherence to continuing education requirements for licensure renewals.

● Marketing visits as appropriate and meetings to increase and retain community client referrals.

Qualifications

Masters degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Social Work.

Fully licensed to practice in the state of Alabama OR desire to become Associate Licensed
