Lead Building Engineer

**Description:**

-As a Lead Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring building system operations and performance, utilizing your expertise in plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling systems.

-Managing equipment such as air handlers, chillers, pumps, and valves.

-Organize and execute a preventative maintenance schedule

-Manage an energy management program to operate systems efficiently and reduce operating costs

-Maintain the building lighting system while overseeing controls.

**Experience:**

-MA Refrigeration or Journeyman HVAC license

-7 years of building engineer and/or HVAC experience

-Knowledge of building management systems and controls (Siemens, Johnson Controls)

-Experience with computer maintenance management systems (CMMS) and working off work orders

**Qualifications:**

-Strong organizational skills

-Efficient management capabilities

-Proactive in maintenance and energy conservation

-Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Outlook

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include customer service

-Experience with on-call work preferred for unexpected emergency situations

**Work Environment:**

-Office/retail building located in a prominent area, encompassing a collection of buildings managed by a major property management firm

-Frequent walking, standing, bending, climbing during course of day

-May be required to lift up to 50 pounds

-Work may be performed outdoors to include exposure to weather, fumes, electrical current, and machine noise

**Hours:**

6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday)
