Credit Card Services Representative II

The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

What You'll Be Doing

Serve Members' needs by handling more advanced credit, debit, and/or ATM card inquiries over the phone. Serves as escalation point within department and performs more specialized tasks.

  • Mentors and provides training to Card Services Representatives in the area of disputes and account maintenance.
  • Ensures compliance with the organization's requirements for information protection by maintaining confidentiality and security of credit union and Member information.
  • Utilizes multiple systems and critical applications necessary to properly maintain Member accounts. These systems include, but are not limited to, FDR, Visa Resolve, Episys, Records On-Line, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Performs daily system file maintenance required to ensure proper Member account postings as well as more common account file maintenance.
  • Assists Members' and team members' with account-related inquiries and/or issues and recommends alternatives.
  • Reviews and ensures all Card Services' general ledgers are monitored and balanced in a timely manner. Assists team members with research, reconciliation and solving complex credit card account and General Ledger issues on a daily basis.
  • Runs queries for monthly and ad hoc reporting to management and other departments
  • Makes recommendations to streamline high volume or labor intensive work processes and submits Service Requests. Reviews and makes recommendations to update Standard Operating procedures.
  • Volunteers to assist team members to ensure functions are completed within operational and/or regulated time frames.
  • Serves as an escalation point for troubleshooting issues within the department and to assist team members and Members with researching and resolving complex issues.
  • Supports management in the delivery of Card Services' goals and mission. Serves as a mentor to team members by exemplifying and enforcing Dream Team values within the department.

  • Complies with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment related actions
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3-5 years of previous related experience required
