The Accounting Manager oversees and manages the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. What does the Accounting Manager do for RITALKA? They: Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Conduct quarterly and year-end financial review activities. Document financial transactions by entering account information. Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options. Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures. Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing training, and maintaining. Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. Secure financial information by completing database backups. Work with external accountants to ensure correct and timely reporting. Assist in payroll activities. Maintain financial security by following internal controls. Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements. Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. Maintain customer confidence and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Accomplish the result by performing the duty. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. What are we looking for in a great candidate? Someone who: Has a High School Diploma or general education degree (GED). Possesses a 4-year Degree in accounting, finance, or business. Has 3+ Years of experience. Has knowledge of manufacturing accounting. Has thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP. OR Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.
