Job Title: Debt Resolution Specialist

Location: Reston, VA

Hourly Rate: $20-$26 per hour

Position Overview: As a Debt Resolution Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients in resolving their outstanding debts and achieving financial stability. This position requires a compassionate and detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate with clients and negotiate favorable resolutions. Responsibilities:

Communicate with clients to understand their financial situations and assess their debt management needs.

Negotiate payment plans, settlements, and other resolutions with creditors on behalf of clients.

Analyze financial documents, credit reports, and other relevant information to develop effective debt resolution strategies.

Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the debt resolution process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and payment arrangements.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of debt resolution activities.

Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices related to debt management and resolution.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in debt resolution or a similar role, preferably within a Credit Union or Bank.

Strong understanding of debt management principles, including negotiation tactics and creditor policies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and creditors.

Detail-oriented approach to analyzing financial documents and identifying solutions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
