Responsibilities

Our Credit and Collections Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance of customer accounts through collection activity, performing credit risk analysis to determine appropriate credit limits, resolving credit hold situations and account research. Other responsibilities include supporting company growth objectives through effective job performance and communication skills and also performing special projects and/or analysis as determined by the Credit & Collections Manager. Experience with Business-to-Business collections and knowledge of receivables is preferred.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of two years business-to-business credit and collections/credit risk management * Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening. (Minimum 1 year) * Proven Business-to-Business credit risk experience * Strong credit reporting tools experience using Duns & Bradstreet and Experian (Minimum 1 year) * Comfortable with handling high call volume. * Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook. * Customer service oriented with the ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner. * Ability to effectively problem solve and work independently. * Ability to handle confidential information and use discretion while performing job tasks. * Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously. * Ability to prioritize assigned tasks based on business need and respond positively to a fast-paced work environment. * Knowledge of general invoicing procedures and supplier portal billing applications. * Knowledge of dispute management process and procedures for business-to-business collections.

Additional Information

This is a Monday- Friday role with hours between 8:00am-6pm. (40 hours per week)

This role will be hybrid after initial training. Our hybrid schedule is typically 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
