Keep reading. Federal is seeking a driven and talented Sales Manager focused on our net weight and legacy level filling technologies to contribute to the success of the company. The successful candidate will have extensive experience and close connections in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) market with a track record of success managing capital equipment sales to large multinational companies in this space. A measure of success for the position will be meeting business development benchmarks and creating sustainable revenue.The position reports to the Vice President & General Manager of Federal Mfg., LLC. The position is a member of the Federal Site Leadership Team, which is a strategic, cross-functional group of leaders that oversee all aspects of the business. The sales territory is North America, and the successful candidate may reside anywhere in the U.S. Are you passionate about this work?

Drive sales objectives and achieve commercial budgets and targets. Identify and acquire new customers as well as up-sell to existing customer base. Build strong relationships with key accounts. Build strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders. Foster, promote and facilitate cross-selling of company-wide products, services, capabilities, and systems focusing on growing Pro Mach’s North America business. Develop and manage sales operating budgets. Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly in alignment with management objectives. Represent the Company at trade shows and association meetings to promote the organization and products. Identify and prioritize sales opportunities while making sales calls on potential accounts and existing accounts. Promptly follow up on all leads. Cold calling to generate leads and qualify new potential accounts. Penetrate all functional levels within potential accounts and existing accounts. Develop business relationships with operations, maintenance, engineering, purchasing and management personnel within those accounts. Collaborate with and support sales agents and distributors to generate leads and sell products. Achieve or exceed sales forecasts for units and parts. Meet with clients and assist sales force (both internal and external) with maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals. Support and cooperate with regional sales managers regarding national account plans and business development projects in their assigned technology. Build a high-performing sales team by providing strong mentorship, coaching and guidance. Source, interview, and hire in accordance with staffing plan. Lead, mentor, and develop the careers of the Regional Sales Managers. Develop and maintain Territory structure, team tracking/activity/CRM. Pipeline projections and revenue for territories. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts. Foster warm hand-offs to Federal Aftermarket Department for service, retrofit and re-build opportunities. Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field, preferred but not required. 10+ years’ experience in capital equipment sales. 2+ years’ experience managing a national sales team, preferred but not required. Approach difficult situations with confidence and tact. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven leadership skills as a sales/business development executive in the CPG industry. Experience managing contract negotiations. Self-motivated professional with experience managing customer correspondence and all travel plans as necessary to deliver desired results. Proven history of increasing revenues to meet benchmarks and company goals. Ability to travel up to 75%. Pro Mach, Inc.
