About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Officer to join our team in an ASX listed organisation. This is a true generalist role that offers exposure to all facets of human resources, providing an excellent opportunity for an emerging HR professional to broaden their skills. This role is offered on a part-time permanent basis, reflecting our commitment to flexibility and work-life balance. Approximately 20 - 25 hours per week are required, with the specific hours and days of work negotiable with the ideal candidate. The Human Resources Officer is tasked with overseeing the day-to-day operations of human resources activities throughout the organisation, encompassing training and development, recruitment, employee benefits, industrial relations, HR systems management, and supporting regulatory compliance

Some of the duties you will be tasked with include: Oversee the recruitment process for blue-collar positions, from sourcing candidates to conducting interviews, and pre-employment screening Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including contracts, position descriptions, employee documentation, induction, and training needs analysis Conduct the offboarding process for departing employees, conducting exit interviews, and analysing feedback Coordinate external training, booking sessions, and maintaining accurate records. Conduct regular HR audits to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, addressing any areas of non-compliance. Effectively communicate HR updates and policies across the organisation through various communication channels. Review and refine HR templates, policies, and procedures to maintain alignment with external legislation and best practices. Provide dedicated support to employees, serving as a primary point of contact for enquiries and assistance. Offer guidance and support to managers and supervisors on a wide range of HR issues, including employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and compliance.
