Responsibilities include:

  • Implementsolutions on a variety of FPGA architectures.
  • CreateFPGA design flow, from specification to implementation and testing.
  • Writeefficient, modular, and reusable code that meets specified performance andresource constraints.
  • Experiencewith FPGA synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, and verificationtools such as Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, or Synopsys Synplify.
  • Useproficiency in DSP algorithms, architectures, and implementations tocreate solutions.
  • Designand optimize DSP blocks and systems for FPGA platforms.
  • Integrateand interface DSP blocks with other components, such as ADCs, DACs, andhigh-speed I/O interfaces.
  • Useunderstanding of and experience with of Fast of Fourier transforms (FFTs),Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing and Nyquist frequency-divisionmultiplexing in application development.
  • Helpother engineers grow in their understanding of theory and applications ofDSP, such as filtering, modulation, demodulation, equalization, etc.
  • Interfacewith engineering team (e.g. electrical engineers, mechanical engineers,electronics technicians).
    Reviewcircuit design schematics.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor'sDegree in Electrical/Electronics/Software Engineering (or similar).

Experience: 5+years of relevant work experience.

Abilityto get and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance

Travel:Quarterly (approximately 4 times a year)
